Le risorse già esistenti sul web impiegabili a supporto dei processi di insegnamento e apprendimento possono essere usate, attraverso lo svolgimento di varie attività collaborative (gioco, lettura, esplorazione e così via), per sviluppare negli studenti competenze disciplinari ma anche trasversali quali il problem solving, il pensiero critico e le capacità di autoregolazione.
